AB or BST for lrh red stag?

My vote is for the AB, even with a soft load at medium range you should be able to hit your animal above 1800 fps. I recomend the AB as it is a stouter bullet then the BT just in case you hit bone. My second choice would be the Sierra game king, a less expensive bullet with a high bc that should out perfrom the BT should you again hit bone.

Bergers and AB's are both advertised to expand @1800 fps.

No argument, just going by what others have written, I don't get to shoot long enough to get that slow...so I generally shoot the NAB.

When Berger gets there 0.338 bullets up and running that may change
