A muzzle brake question.

A buddy has the defcon 1 and I have the grizzly on identical 308s. We don't have a way to measure, but the defcon 1 probably has the edge on reduction, but also has more muzzle blast. I prefer the grizzly myself

beast brake with 9/16-24 thread. I run that thread on my 300Wm and the barrel was about .650 if I recall. the 9/16-24 gives you a better shoulder and still plenty of thickness in the barrel wall.

I remeasured again and muzzle diameter of my rifle is .626. Luckly I have a couple of options for this brake yet. Hoping the .380 opening is large enough for a .338.
