7mm SAUM

The best load is what your rifle likes the best. There numerous threads on here about the 7SAUM. You need to know your Twist rate.

As has been stated before (above), here is the factory designation for twist rate:

7mm SAUM - 1 in 9 1/4" . . . . . .Remington Model Seven

He can work from this.

Whats a good load/bullet for this caliber? Mainly be for deer hunting and possibly elk.
I shoot berger 168 hunting with h4831 3/8 groups 2800fps and barns tsx 160 2925 1/4 groups model700 short action stainless lost accuracy at anything faster in opened up to 3/4 groups

As mentioned, the Model 7 comes with a 1 in 9.25". You can stabilize up to a 180gr Berger with it.

We've shot mostly 160gr Partitions and 162gr SST's out of the 7 RSAUM.

I recently worked up a load for deer for my brother's rifle, it shoots cloverleafs with the 150gr Ballistic Silvertip and 59.5gr of RL19, GM215M and RP brass.

It's a versatile cartridge. I prefer bullets between 160gr and 168gr. Using powders like RL16, RL23, H4831sc, IMR-7977, RL26 and H1000 you will find a great load. You can go heavier with 175gr or 180gr bullets as well. I would not go lighter than a 150gr though.
