7mm SAUM

Not 100% on the model 7 but I believe the factory twist is 9.25. The higher the elevation the less it will matter. There are lots of twist calculators out there you can verify stability with. I agree you should be in the 140-168 grain range. 175+ will start to be marginal.

 
I have two saums. One is more geared towards hunting and the other for shooting steel. The hunting model is a trued 700 sa in a Mcmillian game warden. It loves the 162eld-x and rl23. Have killed white tails and pronghorn out to a little over 600 with it.
