If I understand the original post right, he is allowed 4 barrels @ a time so he is wondering the barrel life on the 7 mag?
I figure my 7mag will last me my lifetime and probably my daughters as it dont get shoot all that often. It would take 11# of powder and $744 in Nosler partition @ todays prices to shoot it out
If barrel life was a concern I think I would be considering the 708 or 7BR?
