I am going to try a .25-7prc but I've been stalling in hopes someone else would "iron out the big wrinkles first". Might even try to stuff it in a vesper sa (3.15" mag).

Yes I did, but there are a few things I am waiting for.
-waiting for the vesper shorts to be released to see if it would work or if med action isnecessary.
-I have sac 7prc dies hoping they release bushings for necking down to .25cal soon.
-hopefully someone smarter than me figures out a reamer for the correct freebore, no clicker problems, etc

I doubt it. But ... Alex does have a reamer for 7-65.PRC-AW

That would be a bad hombre slinging 153.5-156 class bullets, and not quite as silly as the 6.5-300wby.
7prc brass =81 grs ADG?

Tikka's all have the same length action just the bolt stops are different
