7mm or 30 cal? Just for curiosity’s sake

I voted .30 since the .270 Win wasn't included.

I like 300WM as an all around cartridge that is incredibly versatile for most game in NA or long range whatever. Load it up or load it down with lighter bullets to adjust easily for any size game. You just cannot go wrong with one. If you can only afford one rifle this can do it.

Then there is the 30-06, nothing more needs to be said.

But my .270TH is now my go to with 156HH's! Hoping to notch bull with it this year. Already proved itself with my biggest WT last year.

I went 7mm. After I shot the barrel out on my 300 ultra I went to the 338 edge. Now I have a 28 nos, 2, 7 sherman max, and a 7 stw. Just got rid of the 7 rum and my second 28 nos. The big 7's are just plain fun to shoot. I miss my 300 rum from time to time. Have a 300 prc and it just doesn't do it for me
