7 RUM Brass to 300 RUM

With the current shortage of 300 RUM brass, can I resize 7 RUM to 300 RUM by just one trip thru the FL sizing die? I know 338 RUM is a shorter case. I did find some 7 RUM brass today. Sorry if this has been asked before. THANKS

yes you can. i know this is done quite often but i wouldn't because the expander in the die isn't made for this kind of presure. get an expanding mandrel to push it out with. it's great for straightening the necks of new brass also.

so your sayng you can use 7mm rum brass for 300? i have 7 rum and i load it but never heard this???

yeah, just push it out to 308 and you're good to go.
