Does anyone have a a 6DTI or 6ARC that they are hunting with. If so what bullet are you deer hunting with? Thx

I've only shot one buck with it, this columbian blacktail was 300 yards lasered, quartering heavily away. I was on top of that hill in the background. The bullet hit the near lung, crossed through the neck vertibre dropping the buck instantly, and stopped under the far side neck skin.

I loaded some 69gr Absolute Hammers but abandonded them after failing to easily find a good load. They shot terrible for me. I need to try again.

Primary use for my 6DRI is on predators with a 55gr NBT-lead free @ 3550 fps. It's a hammer! Instant kills no exits, super accurate.

Did you have dial up for the 300 yard deer shot?

I was zero'd at 200 yards, and I had time to laser and dial a bit up to 300.

I lost one in sat at 300 with a 90gn accubond, no blood at all.
