I just bought 100 hornady cases and they were surprisingly nice and consistent. Other than that I'd be looking to form out of 257 roberts nosler brass.

I would do the Norma.
I have Never had a complaint with Norma.
I have Weatherbys and have reloaded them as many as 6 times. Maybe that's not good enough.

Norma. Never had issues with it. I take 7x57 and form to 6mm rem and AI. Raven rock precision had some 257 Robert's norma not to long ago. Not sure if they still do but I'm sure that would be easier. I had to turn necks quite a bit on the 7x57.

Are you sure you're referring to Norma and not Nosler brass ? Nosler brass usually needs a bit to be desired. Primer pockets usually go quick with any type of hot load.
Primer Pockets and case life are shortened in all cases when shooting hot loads. Simple solution, don't shoot hot loads.

Maybe the norma brass Is better now the one batch I have tried was not consistent in weight or length it was 7mag brass. My load in my 6mm Remington is not a hot load I get 6 to 8 loads on hornady brass

That's like saying don't do a 155 mph, just because your motorcycle can do it. lol
The 6 Rem and AI thrive on top end pressure loads. When you neck down, neck turning should be considered, and I neck turn before necking down.
I saw these on gun broker, cases heads look perfect, primers round, and I would trust them:
Since the parent case is the 8x57 Mauser, you have some options. As you know, Norma is soft in the case head. Once in a great while, you will see Lapua 7x57 brass for sale, which usually comes across the border from Canada. You can get a set of form dies and start making brass from 30/06 brass, and this is a chore, I have done many. RWS is the Toughest, and Lapua 30/06 brass is almost as tough. Be aware of the fact that the European brass is much larger in the web, which can give you headaches. If you can ever find any of the NEW Lake City 06 Match brass, you will have a treasure, the stuff is incredibly tough.
The easy button is to shoot Hornady brass, skim turn the neck to uniform, de burr inside primer pocket, call it done.
Op, you could do a "Want To Buy" on New Winchester brass, and they are worth $1 each if you can find them. I have had 20 bags of Winchester on back order for 3 years, no hope in sight.
