6.5 Creedmoor for elk

Thanks guys. I just got some rounds loaded. Both the 120TTSX and the 110HH 'touched" the rifling at 2.75". I was surprised as I had figured it would have been over 3" anyhow. No problems, I am just starting out the 120 at 2.70 and the Hammer at 2.715 C.O.A.L. I "was" going to start out with R26 but it sure fills the little case up "fast", ha. I am using R17 for both now, hope to get to the range by Wednesday!

My gun loves RL26 with the 124gr HH.

46.2gr puts it right around 2950fps without any signs of pressure and very accurate. I am however able to load coal to 2.870"

At a suggestion, I ordered some Winchester 6.5 StaBall powder and some 110 HHs. I'm shooting for 3200, but in this 22" bbl I may have to settle for less.
