Çan I shoot my 45 colt loads made for my Ruger Blackhawk in my Marlin 1894 Cowboy lever action rifle?

By the way, the 45 colt loading is 26.5 grs. W296 with a 240 gr XTP.

Probably wouldn't recommend that you use that much 296 in ur Marlin 45 Colt loads.Sierra's Edition VI says 240gr. bullet in Ruger revolver loading is Win 296 27.7 to 29.2gr. for 1,500fps. Marlin (rifle) loads for 45 Colt 240gr for Win 296 is 21.0 to 23.6gr max for 1,550 fps. They say the following data was worked up specifically for Winchester or Marlin 45 Colt rifles, and should not be used in revolvers or weaker replica lever actions.they go on to recommend a firm crimp and a Lee Factory crimp die.

From everything I can find you're only 5 grains over max. If I were you I'd just buy a 454 Casull. Then you could go up another whole grain of powder.
