I found several reviews, photographs and current pricing from various suppliers.
Here is one review:
With a retail of approximately $2800.00 I would expect great things from this rifle, especially since Cooper Firearms was involved. However, the Colt jinx may have come back to haunt Cooper...
A recent price showed @ just a pinch less than $1800 for the same rifle. $1,000 is a pretty big drop from the original MSRP.

Family member picked up one as new that a guy could not keep. I am selling it for him
Best price new I have found is $2470 @Hinterland.
He is starting it $2250 which is a bit high.
