Anyone shoot these in a 14 twist? Bought some to shoot in my 22-250 AI, but box says 12.5 but website says 14. Just trying to see if I should just shoot them in my 223 and not waste my time.
ThanksThey well run well in the 14" twist. They are nearly a flat base bullet requiring less twist than boat tail bullets. When we first designed the bullet we designated it as a min 12.5" twist. We since changed it to 14" twist. We haven't used up the original box stickers yet!
I have had pretty good luck with rl15.5 in a regular 22-250. Was going to give it a test on the AI.Varget is a good place to start. I started my 22-250AI at 41.0 grains and found pressure at 44.5. Settled on 44.3 running 4,337 fps from a 26" 12 twist barrel. Good luck.
