375 H&H conversion

Can either a 300 weatherby mag or a 338 mag be converted to a 375 H&H mag ?

It will depend alot on the length of your action the .338 win mag could be a little short or you could make it a single shot, the 300wby should work good. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If your dealing with a Rem 700, either will work perfectly as is.

If it is another brand, then you may have some receiver length issues.

What receiver are you dealing with?

I have a Weatherby Vanguard . I really like it and figure if I purchased another for the $388 it cost me and had it altered - I could be ahead instead of purchasing a 375 H&H for around a thousand bucks.
