$350 AR15? Yes.....

My very first build was this 20 inch 1/7 $499

PSA 20" 5.56 NATO 1/7 CHF Premium Rifle Kit - 8818

I put on a mill spec adjustable stock and magpul fore stock. It sits collecting dust inside a gun safe because of the 1/7 twist rate. Because of the velocity of 20 inches it was only good for 75 and up grain bullets or lower velocity 62's 69's 55 grain bullets would go through the paper side ways and splatter all over the paper at over 3000 fps

I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and these type AR's have a place as home defense weapons with dot type sights with no real thought as to accuracy and sub 100 yard use.

I will agree with you 80% of the time. But it's always nice to find that exception to the rule isn't it?

My first AR15 was a Del-Ton Lite that was not a kit, it was the completed rifle for $480. It shoots as good as any AR I've seen. Yes I do have friends that have more accurate AR's. But they have put in expensive triggers, expensive free floated forearms, etc.

I'm grouping around 1.25 inches at 100 yards with whatever cheap ammo I put into it. And it was made in the United States and has a lifetime warranty.

Now my Mosin and a couple Hi Points I have; those I definitely got what I paid for...

Not been my experience at all. I have bought some very expensive ar s form several builders. I have been happy with all of them but to say psa is junk get outta hear. I have 4 currently and one is the best shooting at I have. Take a look at the sub moa challenge. That is a psa 300 blk and a born lower no special work done. Shoots right with my dtech. As for your 1/7 twist we have all been there I wish I knew more when I was having my first few rifles built. I have also had a ptac fail. Although that was about 1600 rounds deep and about 200 in less than 5 min with slide fire. Lol got it a bit warm you could say.
