I'm looking to have one built for me... #1

It has be able to have an ultra durable extraction system for hunting in frigid and about all weather conditions.

Bears, Hogs, dangerous game, and loaded down for whitetail in the thick.

I'd really like good accuracy up to 250 yards.

Open sights and add a scope secondary for accuracy testing and load developement.

Any knowledgeable users and gunsmiths maybe you're a hunter or PH possibly.

Detachable Mag preferably...

Will buy one used if it fits my parameters too, no wooden stocks, it's got to be all weather.

Thanks,
Ed

Sounds like you need to find a pre 64 model 70 30-06 donor rifle and have one built just the way you want it.

Or keep an eye out on gunbroker....I almost bought a remiongton 700 in 35 whelen a few months ago. New old stock. Easy enough to add options and as for extractor, I would consider an m-16 style maybe.....that would require a smith though.

Thanks for good comments guys.

I've heard of Sako and M-16 extractors and will do some research the win pre -64 sounds good as I've read about their mauser type extraction systen. The Rem 700 most smith's work on too.

I'll keep researching.

Any more ideas welcomed.

Thanks
