Just got around to trying the 250gr bullets I had for my 338 WM.The first few loads did not look to good.My last group to try was with 63 gr of 760.At 200 meters this is how it did

How fast is the ole WM cranking them out?

Hmmmm, that's pretty impressive. IMO, a 225 gr. bullet gives about the most out of a 338 WM and that's why I haven't even thought about Bergers but I might just follow your lead and see what happens.

I run 225 ab's (or hornady interlocks) at 2900 or 250 sierra gamekings at 2700+ fps out of my #1 in 338win. I am using rl19 for both bullet weights...
Both loads are capable of sub 1 inch 200yard groups in decent conditions...

I've only loaded 225 NABs in my .338 WM. There was nice article written about the 225 weight bullet as max in .338 WM but I cannot seem to find it at the moment.

IIRC, HSM loads (or at least used to) the 300 Bergers in .338 WM.
