338 win/load with 250 smk

Have a savage 338 WINCHESTER with a medium heavy barrel on its way and all though it is really a 338 edge doner action I want to work up a load while I wait on the other barrel and stock. Have not found sierra's recommended start and stop data for H4350 for the 250smk any one with a sierra manual care to share that? I have starter loads ready with a couple other bullets but not sure where to start with the "little" matchkings. Thanks

66gn should get you about 2650 fps.

I use this in a Tikka T3 and 67gn in a Sako with the similar 250gn Hornady BTHP bullet.

I get similar velocities from both with 24.5" barrels.

Accuracy is unreal and shot small rocks for practice, out to 1192 yards two weeks ago.
