.338 Ultra Magnum load data. 285 Hornady/300 Berger Hybrid

I was getting ready to load up some 285gr Hornady's and 300gr Berger Hybrids for a .338 Ultra Magnum. On this rifle I am restricted to 3.625 about for COL. So it will fit in a AICS mag, the other .338 Ultra I don't have such a restriction on the COL due to the fact, I have a Wyatt's extended center feed mag box. None of my books and searches have found a starting point with these two bullets in the 338 RUM with a COL listed. I'll check on the latest Hornady book tomorrow but I don't know if they list a load for the 285gr bullet or if one has to wait for the next book to come out.

I shoot a 300g SMK with 91.2g of Retumbo. Start 2 or 3 grains lower and work up and you should be OK. Hope this helps.
