I shoot 215 s from my sendero atbergers listed max of 90.2 retumbo. Oal of 3.800 velocity average 2948 and standard deviation of 8. Shoots great. Fairly mild load but I see no reason to push faster with my accuracy.

Not sure but thinking Berger's emailed load data comes straight from QL. I have QL and use it a lot. My experience has been I can push bullets much faster than their load data. This is in several rifles, 6.5 to .308. But in the essence of safety, use their start loads and work up.

My 300 ultra load
Stock sendero with brake and jewel trigger
215 Berger VLD
Remington brass trimmed
Neck sized .334 bushing
Federal mag primer
H1000 88.9 no presher sizes
Base to ogive 3.898
Velocity 2980 I could go more but why ?

Shoots lights out gun)

Keep looking and buy them when you stumble onto them. Last box I got was from powder valley when I got a tip they has some in stock. I also found some 300 gr for my 338 last time I was at sportsman's warehouse in Bozeman.

I load 93.0 grains of Retumbo with 215's with a COAL of 3.670 for a corrected velocity of 3025 with a 26" factory tube.

Thanks for the info D.Camilleri... I will be using Retumbo as well. Did you go beyond 93.0 gr. of Retumbo or was that the max you tried?

I had an accuracy node at 92 grs, basically one hole, went to 92.5 and the group jumped to 1.5, tried 93 and it was back to under .5 with only a light ejector mark. I took the load out to 700 yards and it shot well, so I called it good.
