I have a Rem 700 with a Krieger 27" barrel 9.35 twist barrel. Shot some 300 gr Berger OTM"s this morning out of brand new Remington brass at 91.5 grs of H1000 over a WLRM primer. Bullet was .005 in the lands, velocity is in the 2830-2840 range. Primer pockets were very loose after the one firing. Reloaded the cases with 93 grs of H1000 and a 300 SMK .015" off the lands and same primer, second shot blew a primer so I quit there. Why do ya'll think I'm getting such high pressures? 93 grs .015" off is a pretty common load and it was obviously way too hot. Lot of powder? Primer? Rifle has shot that load before without blowing the primer, presumably with a different lot of H1000
