Yes they are but the final weight has not been released. This is still in early testing as well and from what I heard it may be 2 years out yet.
Many have predicted that the bullet will be in the 270-275 gr range because it would not make much sense for Hornady to come out with a bullet to long for the standard 1-10 twist of the 338 cal. A 300 gr A-max would, in my opinion be to long for a 1-10 or at least marginal in the smaller 338 rounds and a big bullet maker will not stub their toes by putting limits on what chamberings their bullets can be used in.
Just my opinion,
For the time being, the 300 gr SMK is the easiest to get. Hopefully Wildcat Bullets will be up and running soon in 338 bullets again.
