300win mag load data

I have a friend that we are building a load for his 300 wm. He has a browning x bolt 1:8 twist. We are loading 178 grain hornady eld-x. Does any one have any suggestions or successes with loads they could share?

The data for .300 Win. Mag. is probably one of the most popular cartridges in reloading data along with the .223 Rem. and the .308 Win. There is simply a bunch of relevant data for you to reference, including online and in readily available reloading manuals.

Your rifle will require you to develop your loads which work well in your system and our data may not demonstrate the best accuracy or consistency.

i have a 300wm custom made by quarter inch magnum. i use 73 grains of h4831sc and a 210 berger at 2900 fps with great results. half inch groups at 400 yds. 11.25 twist

Thank you everyone. Settled on RL 17. 65.8 grains. 0.5 groups actually one tunneled the other. Browning X bolt 8.5 twist
