Hello all ,just got a new used rifle,Rem 700BDL,and was wondering what powder would get the best velocity with acc. will be shooting a180gr.bullet

But watch out for freezing temperatures. RL 22 will loose a lot of velocity
as compared to 70*F.

what kind of velocity can I get with the 180 gr bulletand rl22 powder.and do you need a mag. primer?

With 77.5grs of Reloader-22,Win Large Rifle Mag Primer,180gr bullet,I get 3100fps.

75.6 grains of reloader 22 with winchester brass and a 215M federal primer and I am getting 3130fps out of my 27 7/8th's inch Krieger shooting a 185 grain berger hybrid target.

86 grains magpro with a cci 250 primer is a good load with the 180 grain bullet.
