.300 WM Won’t Chamber Factory Ammo

Sorry, but eyeballing can be deceiving. You need actual measurements of the ones that chambered fine vs. those that will not chamber. My best WAG is a lot longer than a .003" difference.

For obvious reasons, the second picture will not chamber. Good luck!
That gauge looks pretty handy, will be picking one up.

Just got a press on the way and going to start collecting the rest of the stuff so can be ready to reload before youth rifle season in mid-Oct.

I was gonna suggest checking the OA case length, as possibly too long!

But, Chad covered that early on!

If you have access to a "go - no go" gauge set, you may check the chamber….it may be a bit tight for a round that's on the high side of spec's! memtb
Don't have a go/no-go but the fact that the suspect ammo would chamber in another rifle, albeit barely, makes me think maybe the chamber may also be a bit tight. Something to figure out for sure before working up a reload for that rifle..

Belt to head* dimension is .212-.220 per SAAMI (.220 -.008)
