G-Gear,
The issue with the hot brass. That is typical of the Browning Bar. The hot gases blow back the action and fill the case in the process. I've seen ejected .243's, .308's and .270 Win so hot I couldn't pick them up. JohnnyK.

Got back from Cades Cove last night ... Lots of nice 8's running does in every direction . ( will try to post pics later )

BountyHunter , When you say full bore are you saying that with reference to the lands being slightly shorter ( less constrictive ) or is the actual bore tighter ?
