I'll go thirds on Ramshot magnum. Used to run h4350 h4831 and h1000. Have since switched over to Ramshot magnum. Excellent temp stability meters great , clean burning, good speed, and accurate. Use it to load 10 300 win mags. Buy it in 8 pound kegs.

so apparently H1000 being unobtainable right now I was thinking of trying some other powder for my practice loads. I still have about 4 lbs h1000 for hunting and driving hammer hunters but I was thinking of trying hybrid100v for 185 berger hybrid target loads(these are very close in BC to the 199 hammers practice like you hunt). Anyone try 100v or what other powders should I try? I'll be honest I've only ever used H1000 in my .300WM's.

Try Reloader 22. Used it for hunting for quite awhile with various 180's, generally up around 76.5-78 grains with standard grade Win brass and hunting bullets like the Accubond. Pretty good velocity for this cartridge and acceptable accuracy out to 4-500. Talking sub-MOA groups of 3-4 shots...not target-grade but more than adequate for practice, and readily available at reasonable prices. If you tweak it to an individual rifle 1/2 MOA is a reasonable expectation with good bullets, but watch for pressure signs.

R l 22 was too temp instabil for me.

I glad to see Ramshot magnum being recommended here. I am almost out of h1000 and was looking for an alternative powder. Going to have to order up 8 pounds and give it a try.
Another question, how is Ramshot in temp stability?

Extremely temp stable. That's why I switched to it. Because it meters so well being a ball powder.
