300 Win Mag load questions/suggestions

I am asking here in hopes that someone else has had the same idea and I don't have to spend tons of time figuring out where to start.

First my gun: 300 Win Mag Sendero 1 in 10 twist. I shoot 210 gr VLD bullets at 2800 fps and its very accurate.

My goal is to drop to a lighter weight bullet with a flatter trajectory for use in hunting whitetails out to about 350-375 yrds. Is there such a combination or is my twist rate limiting me to the heavier bullets? I would like to hopefully work up a load that can give me accuracy with a max point blank range of 400 yrds so I don't have to range and calculate each shot. I am kind of trying to duplicate the characteristics of my 243 that I use for coyotes.

Thanks for any input.

Your twist rate is fine for any bullet 230 gr and lighter. Lots of options.

You could shoot a Barnes 130 or 150 TTSX
Or a 125 or 150 Nosler Accubond or the 150 E-tip
Or Hornady's 110 or 125 GMX bullet

I chose the tougher bullets which IMO would be a better choice than a cup and core bullet.

According to Hodgdon's website you could get:

110 gr bullet up to 3650 fps
125 gr bullet up to 3500 fps
130 gr bullet to go up to 3450 fps
150 up to 3350 fps.

Any of these would certainly flatten the trajectory.
