In my reading its said that this cartridge is designed to be an easy build from a 300WM which is what I'm looking at. I currently have a 300WM on a post 64 mod 70 action trued up. On that I have a 28" medium heavy straight contour Kreiger SS barrel with 1-10 twist. I usually shoot 200 to 210gr. Matrix bullets. The barrel has lots of life left in it. Ive been thinking of a way to keep the 300WM velocity but get away from the belt and short neck issues and this seems to be it. If you more knowledgeable folks could chime in with some pros, cons, suggestions for this idea I'd appreciate it.
