.300 Norma magnum for hunting??

Emailed Lapua to inquire if 300 NM brass would be available soon, they responded with "Yes, in 2018". Hell yeah, hopefully it is all we've been wishing for.

I ordered a couple boxes of ABM 230s from Mile High before the confirmation from Lapua. Ouch its $$, hopefully its in Lapua brass.

ABM pricey but it shoots lights out in my rifle.

Just started testing with 225 ELD in my Norma IMP, Looks like 89 gr of N-570 can be a good start. 940 ms. Next will be a seating dept test.

I've read new batches of 300 norma from ABM are head stamped lapua brass! Peterson will also be manufacturing it in first quarter 18 they say.

Lapua already have 300 Norma in stock. 338 Norma will be available in 2-3 months. My local dealer here in Norway confirmed that i will receive the 200 i ordered in 2 weeks :)
That's fantastic! Good to hear it's getting into the hands of end users so soon.

I see nothing of the 245 on the site

or pdf. You have any of the info? I'm interested in it, just curious as to what twist I'll need. I have my 300 norma improved awaiting action from Kelbly, currently planning on 28" proof 1:9.4, wonder if I'll need a 1:9 or tighter.

Page 5. No other info other than its 245 gr. I built a 1:8 for the 230 and just in case something heavier tripped my trigger.

The 240 smk says 1:9 or faster, and I bet the hybrid design of the eol will probably have similar or less bearing surface than the Sierra. I bet a 1:9 will work.
