Advice on Barrel Contour for 300 Norma Magnum

I'm starting to put together parts for a 300 Norma build. I'd like to keep it on the lighter side. I know it won't be a feather weight but I don't want a 15+ lb rifle. I'd like to get some feedback on barrel contours that you like for this caliber in a hunting rifle.

I used a medium palma contour. Even at 30", it only weighs 10 lbs. Carbon fiber stock of course. You can see it in guns for sale.

My 300 prc is a #4 and I like it. I would maybe go to a #5 (3b) if you wanted some more meat to calm down a bit more recoil.

Not a Norma but a 300 RUM. Using a Carbon 6 "Magnum" contour at 27". Intended to be a lightweight, but glass makes it heavy. It's shooting the 245 Bergers well.
