I have a 28 Nosler long throated for the 195 bergers. I followed ryan pierces thread and worked up a load with 85 gr Reloder 33 that looks promising running 3115. I also tried Reloder 50 with mixed results. Has anyone worked with Retumbo, US869, or H1000 and still seeing the velocity. I ran the Reloder 33 up to 88gr and 3200 but the accuracy just wasn't there.

I'm using Retumbo in my 28 Nosler with the Berger 195gr,
79.6gr Retumbo, COL 3.632", 0.012" off the lands, muzzle velocity is 3075fps. Shooting 1/2 MOA. 26" barrel with 1:8.5 twist.

It's about all I can get out of it without over pressure. From what I've read it seems RL33 gives the best performance (velocity vs. pressure).

I wouldn't use the published load data, it's based on the SAAMI COL length. With a long throat and greater length you open up case capacity.
