Im looking to put together a long range rife. Right now it looks like it will be a low budget job, with a Savage in .270 Win as the rifle and caliber of choice. Topped off with a Bushnell Elite 3200. I was wondering that you think of my choices? Also I was hopping to find a suitable long range bullet for the 270 Win, other then the 135 gr SMK, any ideas?

Thanks,
Huvik

140 Accubonds are hard to beat. Advertised BC seems to be real close to the actual BC and have performed better on game than any bullet I've tried.

am I reading the website correctly. Does the 140 Accubonds have the same 0.496 BC as the 150 Ballistic Tips?

Yes, you are. I used the 140Acc. in a Model 700 this season for Antelope, Mule Deer & Whitetail. The accuracy was extreme (for me), the drop was as expected & terminal performance was very good.
