Worked up a load for my stainless tikka t3 270 win that shoots like this...

What has your experience been with this bullet on deer and elk at longer ranges?

Should do very well... I've used the 130 grain ballistic tips with great results.

The 150's have greater sectional density, and will penetrate well.

What powder and charge did you end up using?

I like 52.5 grains of IMR 4350 with 150's in the 270... but of course there are lots of other great options.

Should do well with the 150, once you go lighter I prefer the Accubond and for over all performance the 140 Berger has treated me very well in the 270 Win but we mostly load the 165 Matrix. I do use the 150 BT as a last ditch effort bullet, if I can't make it shoot then it's over haul time!!

I'm loading 58gr RL-22 with cci 200s in winchester brass. Average velocity is 2870

Also have a 130gr accubonds load that is averaging 2975fps with 60gr H4841sc. Shoots like this. Final group after adjustment are the 3 shots in the white.

Outside of white circle is about the size of a quarter

Nice, because I to have a Tikka T3 left hand Lite, I to use 150gr ballistic tips
Mine to shoots very well…. I've taken Sambar deer with one shot out to 251 yds.. in fact all me 5 deer I have shot with 150s, ALL WITH ONE SHOT they work really well in 270

I've got both a lh tikka t3 stainless in 270 and a marlin xl7 in 270

both eat the 150 hornady interlock with 56.5 I 7828 and a wlrm like candy.
The marlin just shot a .3" group up at 100 with that load the other day. That rifle HAS to be fouled before groups. The tikka doesn't care.
the nos 130's work well with rl17 in the tikka, but the marlin hates them.
haven't worked with the 150 bt yet.
