looking for suitable starting charge weights for N570. currently shooting R33 and the 147 eld-m. cant seem to find any info for the combo im going to try and use. thanks.

26" tube, 1-8, and 3187 fps with the eld-m

RL33 will be much friendlier to the throat than N570. I suggest you stick with it on the 156. It'll get better case fill due to density. There are several guys on here who've used it with success. If you have more freebore than saami to seat it out, even better.

74 grains... I believe 20 thou off the lands... at work all night or I'd go look.

Good advice from highdrum. Best I can suggest is back off 3+ grains to start N570 development. Sorry, I can't offer better.

Loaded out at 3.477 OAL on mine. 68.2G of N570 producing 3096 average w/ the 156. Grouping under a dime at 200. ES is under 5 with 8 twist Bartlien at 26". No brake. 0.165 throat. Maybe I got lucky but love that load.

what is your cbol? how far off the lands are you?

0.025 off lands. 2.785 is CBTO w/ Hornady

If you call Berger they will give you load data for the 156 along with seating depth advice

Another great option in a 264win with heavy bullets is Norma 217. Start at 66.0g and work up. I'm running it with the 160g Matrix. My chamber isn't close to a SAAMI chamber, so I won't share my data on the public forum.
