257 wby

Morning B-Man---there isn't much in the world I wouldn't take on with the 115 NBT.

Elk...no problemo

Hope all is well

Good to know, I just bought 4 boxes. My MK 5 is giving me fits as far as accuracy. Loaded up a bunch last night 100 grain PT at 3,500 + IMR 4831 and federal mag match primer. Yes, all is good. Preparing and getting ready for several hunts here . Thanks

7828 is another good one to light the torch with

I love the 257 Wby, I had a couple decades of my life where I ran amuck with one. I mainly used the 100 Horn SP along with 7828. Worked well for elk on down.

I think the new Ramshot "Grand" could be worth a look see in it.

Me no, but my better half shot a corker with the 120 out of our Mashburn. It's faster than the 115/257 Wby combo but both will do the same thing.

I've seen a lot of bruins and elk taken with various NBT's to know if I do my part I'd never want for another bullet

I've only had my hands on a .257 Weatherby at the range. Recoil was very manageable and it was an accurate rifle but it was a LOUD. Now, I hunted with a 25-06 for a few years and it was hell on wheels as a deer caliber. I'd expect no less from the .257 Weatherby given the extra velocity it carries. Of course, any ammo this day and age is expensive but have you priced ammo for the .257 Weatherby?
