I am wondering what bullet would be better. I have a 25 wssm that i just can't get better than 1 moa out of with the heavier bullets.
1/10 twist imr4350 23 in barrel just factory a bolt but i will probably try varget for the lighter bullets and i tried a few different ones 115 gr ballistic silvertip, 110 gr eldx 120 gr partition and 117 gr sst. The best results i got was the ballistic silvertip, the rest were like 1.2 Moa. I will probably have to get a custom barrel i would think.going to need a lot more info what powder bullets and twist is your bbl
what are you trying now
Yeah i was looking at those on the nosler load data, varget was the most accurate with the 100 grs. ThanksTry the 100gr etips with varget. Works great out of my son's factory rifle.
I'll get you his load if you want I'm on my way out to my loading room.Yeah i was looking at those on the nosler load data, varget was the most accurate with the 100 grs. Thanks
Yeah, I am just not sure if varget will be fast enough for it. I don't know how much faster the powder needs to be compared to same weight bullets. If you're comfortable with the loading process being a little out of the box, the 90gr Absolute is a ripper...
Alright, thank you for the recommendation.Try the hammers of either 90gr absolute or the closest in the hunter line. I've switched to those in my .257 bee and the last two deer I have take have been perfect performance with an impact over 4K.
Accuracy was what got me to stick with them but boy they do a good job on target.
Yeah i might have to do that. ThanksDoesn't look like there's any data on this sheet for the 25 WSSM. I'd check with Steve from Hammer.
Absolute Hammer load data
I think this will work. @GLTaylor has been compiling load data from folks working up loads with the new Absolute Hammer bullets. Thanks to him for his hard work. I figured I would post it in a place where guys can find it more easily. If my link doesn't work then George can put his link in here.www.longrangehunting.com
That is nice
