.243Win Barrel length/ twist

Is barrel length measured from the bolt face to the crown, or the start of the rifling to the crown?

My Barrel measure 600mm (23.6") From bolt face to muzzle with a 1 in 250mm (1 in 10" twist)

Would this barrel favour lighter or heavier bullets?

Bolt face to crown.... Your twist will stabize the heavier bullets and should still shoot reasonably well with the lighter ones as well

I have a 1:8 twist on my 243 and it shoots the heavier bullets (over 100gr) awesome. I love the new 108gr Berger BT's (.546 BC)!
