What's some of your favorite loads for the 87 gr hornady bthp in 243? I have most of the popular powders for 243! 4064,4895,varget,414,4350,4831,hv100,h1000,7828

87 Hornady v-max is what I use with AR2213sc ( Hodgon 4831sc) but I'm over book max so won't post weight. But it works well with 105 amax as well. Get around 1/4 moa (best is 0.131inch) with 87 and a bit over 1/2 Moa with 105's for 3 shot groups, my rifle is a hunter weight not a varmint rifle

morning, the Lapua 77gr. scencar-L RL-15 and W-760 and 4320, depending

on the weight of the bullet.lightbulbgun)

This is a new vanguard ! 1/10 twist! Longe range coyote rig if I can make it shoot!

I have a tikka 1-10 as well. just starting out trying to find a good mule deer load. Well its the wife's rifle actually. I wish it had something like a 1-8 twist.

I use reloader 17 with berger 87 vld hunters. I get 1/2 moa or better to 700 yds. And it cleans a coyotes clock! My friend has adopted this load for his sons 243. He shot 2 whitetails with it in 2015 one at 60yds and one at 250 yds. Both were mature bucks and both dropped. His rifle and mine are 10 twist .

I have had good success in 243 Win. with Winchester Brass, Hornady 87 Gr. V-Max with WW LRS Primer and 42.7 Gr. (Forty Two and Seven Tenths) IMR 4350. OAL 2.740. This shoots .6 groups out of this rifle.

My 243, a 1955 featherweight does very well with both w760 and varget with 85 and 87 grain bullets. Varget has an ES of 11, in my rifle/load.

Sorry to re energize this post but just saw it. This is almost my exact load, with my 700 sps varmint it shoots .5moa my o.a.l. I is shorter though, around 2.60 tried 2.65 but rifle didn't like it.
