I don't know of any powder that is going to stabilize the 105's in a 10/1 twist barrel. But, if I was going to try to do that, I would try something like Hybrid 100V.

Good luck, but I bet you will want to go to lighter bullets with that twist rate.

Good point, getting that 105g smk to shoot in that 1-10 is going to be tricky. You did not say what the load was for?

you are right! i would need a 8/1 twist for a 105 bullet. i will get away with a 90gr Berger they are calling for a 10/1 twist.

6mm 90 Grain Match BT Target

LOL, yea, I don't think someone has caught on yet....:D

10-1, 8-1, man that's such a tight twist, it's like a machine screw hole.

You might also try an 87 Grain Hornady Vmax. It has a pretty good bc and I have found it works very well in 10 twist barrels.

If you are going to try the 105s try retumbo for a powder. I was able to get the 105 amax to shoot out of a 1 in 9.25 using retumbo and h1000.

I have a factory Rem Model 7 .243 youth/ladies model that will flat out shoot one hole groups at 100yd all day everyday with any load.......unreal. It will outshoot any custom gun I own as well, so this may be a disadvantage and yours may not shoot as well with this load, but it works for my wifes .243 and is devastating. Give it a try and its a 1/10 twist

95g Bergers VLD
44.0g Hunter powder
2.820 COAL......magazine length
Winchester brass trimmed to 2.035
Fed 205M Primers

..........success.
