.22 suppressor question

If you make your own .22 cal. suppressor what diam. would you make the thru hole of the suppressor, I would think .220" is too close.....maybe more like .230" or so. Anyone know????

If you are using for nefarious purposes, it does not matter.
BUT you can make HIGH Sights just like are made for regular suppressors.
All of our Pistols (1911, P226, 92 Bretta) Have HIGH Iron Sights and Fast Fire!
Not saying to use an OIL FILTER (which is not legal) as a suppressor. BUT it does WORK!

I have a 1 in dia form 1 can I did for my ruger mk4 tactical and it's awesome. the holes i drilled out with a 9/32 bit and a jig which is what's recommended since I don't have a lathe and used the same bit to drill out my 22 250 can that works great as well.

So does a Baby bottle nipple over the Mus, of a 22Lr. Many good for two three shots! But I "really" could not tell you if they work!

In this realm of Redneck territory these locals have used everything imaginable with lawnmower mufflers at the top of their list. The Dead Air Mask has been wonderful for me, short wait periods, super quiet with loads other than high velocity.

Some guys just use 1/4" drill bit, but that is pretty close tolerances --17/64 would allow more clearance

Always recommend an alignment check rod for f1 builds though
