Copper doesn't have a top end like CC bullets. I've run the 17cal, 18gr Deadblows to 5060 FPS. No accuracy but bullet didn't mist in midair like CC's have been known to do.

Sounds fun, how much are you expecting to gain over a regular 22cm going with the 40degree shoulder?

Not sure Bruce (designer/builder) has gotten 80gr Bergers up to 3400 FPS out of a 26" barrel. He doesn't expect that much more velocity out of my 28". Only time will tell.
