22-250 loads

Hi, can anyone help me with some loads for my new 22-250 with a 1 in 9 twist(Savage 12). Thank you for any help.

What type of application were you thinking about with it?

Deer, hogs, long range target. I just want some information on what loads that have been the most accurate in this set-up.

hello.
First off, the savage 12 is a 12" twist standard and the 9 is a special order item. If it is a 12 twist the highest bc you'll stabalize is the 55 gr Blitzking. Berger's website will give you a good idea of what twist is necessary for various bullets. you may want to take a cleaning rod and a tight patch to see how far you have to pull the rod out before it makes one revolution.

Thanks for the input. I ordered the 1 in 9 so I could shoot heavier bullets.
