A load you might try(36.5gr H380 with 55gr bullet) can't remember the oal but this load worked in a friend of mine's rifle as well.No devastating vel but accurate. This gun is now a 22BRRem and is also very accurate!!

My VS likes a 55r Ballistic tip over 36.5grs of Varget and Fed 210M primers. It gives about 3600fps.
That is about a MAX load and works in MY gun.
Drop down several grains and work your way up.
If you don't have time to reload, try a box of Remmy Premier varmint ammo. It shoots 1/2MOA in my gun.

You could also try 4895, has always shot great for me in about any .22-250 I have tried. I also shoot a load that is not usually published in the manuals but was used by Rem to shoot acceptance targets on two .22-250 40x's that I owned - 33 grains of 3031 with a 53 or 55 grain bullet.
