HI all, I just picked up a few bags of 30 Cal Nosler 190 Grn. ABLR Blems from Shooters Pro Shop. They look excellent! Has anyone used these bullets in a 300 Weatherby Mag Mag with H 4831SC?? Weatherby Mark V/26 inch factory barrel/10 twist/,Mag na ported. Has anyone taken game with this bullet , in a 30 mag?? I can't find any load data for this bullet weight. Thanks for any suggestions.

You will notice that Nosler specifies the same charge weight range for all its bullets of a given weight, even when there maybe be 4 or 5 different bullet types. You will also notice H4831SC, IMR4831 have recommend charge weights within a grain of each other when you look across cartrdiges of similar size.

Since you are likely loading for accuracy, if you can find load data for I or H 4831 subtract a grain from the low end then reduced by 5% and load some safety check rounds.

For example, the nsoler website lists starting load of 71 grain of I4831. Subtract 1 grain to 70 grains, reduce that by 5% to 66.5

Load 1 round each at 66.5, 67.5, 68.5 and 69.5 and 70.5. Watch for pressure signs. If all is good with those "safety check" loads, you can start load develop at 70 grains. With that size case, I would load in .6 increments for load devlopment. Load 3 rounds at 70.6, 71.2, 71.8, 72.4, & 73 and run a OCW test.
