Had a 8tw rem mag built using 180hybrid and h1000 for 3050fps load.
Shot a bull moose on Thursday at 150-200 yds in chest, nothing left of the heart and dropped it on the spot.
Yesterday shot a cow elk at 590yds, through the ribs, she ran about a hundred yards and dropped dead. So far pretty happy. Got a mule deer tag to fill yet with it.

You had better luck than I did. I shot a pronghorn buck at 711 yards and the bullet blew up barely taking out the on side lung. Shot a doe at 535 and it was perfect performance with the same shot directly behind the shoulder. Shot a muley buck at 250 and every shot penciled straight through with zero expansion.

Great results here on quite a few elk, both cows and bulls. From 40ish to 882. All but one (hard quartering on shot @ 105 yards) exited. Exits were from $.50 (662 & 882) to racquetball sized holes. Nothing went more than 50 yards.
