155 gr a-max .300 why min and max loads?

i just picked up 100 155 gr amax's on a deal and wanted to load them up in my .300 weatherby it absolutely hated 180gr silver tips I just like the bc and wanted to give it a try but i don't have any info in my lymans book or my really old books any help would be appreciated

according to Nosler's web page the most accurate tested load is
H4831 / WLRM primer
start at 81.0grn 3022 fps 92% load density (volume)
max load 85.0 3232 fps 96%
I would check other sources to verify before useing
 
Hornady #8 lists
IMR 4831 73.8 gr for 3200 fps- max 81.0 gr for 3500 fps
H 4831 80.0 gr for 3200 fps - max 85.7 gr for 3400 fps
H 4350 72.7 gr for 3200 fps - max 80.4 gr for 3500 fps
 
I have Nosler 155's I was going to try in one of my 300 Wby's

1. H4831 will work
2. Those numbers seem to be capacity with no seated bullet.

Check some more sources but it should work.

Until I have more time I went with 168s
