115 gr d-tac loads

I'm wanting to get some load info on this bullet I'll be using it a .243 winchester and also in a 6x284 they both will have 4 groove 8 twist barrels.

Curious about brass, powder and primer's used.

Even with the velocity you'll get with the 6-284 you may not be able to stabilize the 115's with an 8 twist. I tried them in a Lilja 8 twist from a 6-06 and couldn't make round holes at 100 and 300 was even worse. RL-25, H1000 and Retumbo all made good velocity but I ended up shooting the 107 SMK's with H1000 which shot in the mid .3's.

Of the powders i tried H1000 did better than anything else with the 115's.

My Broughton 8 twist 243 Ackley loves the 115's with RL25. FWIW

Fed 210's, Lapua and Winchester brass.

I shoot the 115 Bergers in a 30 inch 8 twist 6 groove 240 Wby. Use RL 22 powder. Very accurate past 1000 yards.

I also shoot the bergers out of a 6-284 broughton 5C 8 twist...Lapua brass, and Retumbo

I have a 32 inch 1 - 8 twist kreiger chambered in 6-284 i shot 50 grns of R 22 Lapua brass Fed 210 primers. I also have a 6X47 1 -8 twist that i shoot 38grns of R17.

48.5 grains of RE 22, 7.5 twist, 6mm 284 Krieger Barrel. Very tiny groups.
