Full confession...my brain must not have been firing on all cylinders...I read the thread title, it plainly says "LRX" and for whatever reason my brain turned it into "ELDX". Don't ask how that happened. Anyway, Dave Emerson and Mike from Texas are dead on i think. With a lead core bullet I don't think 200 grains is too heavy or 2600fps is too slow from the 30-06. With mono metals it seems absolutely pointless over lighter faster options. I need to read more carefully.
